Tru by Hilton Tahlequah

I recently explored the area around Tahlequah and enjoyed a night here. I booked the king business room. The guy at the front desk was very kind and helpful upon my check-in. When I entered the room, i felt it was just a little small but enough for one person. It was very clean and smelled great. I did notice it didn't have any closet to put my stuff, but it does offer hooks and hangers for you to hang your bags on. The decor is more of a trendy feel to it and very well put together. The colors go well together. The pillows and bed were very comfy, I slept great. The hotel is in an area next to a casino if you wanna go have a little fun or there is plenty to do around Tahlequah. Right next door is some good food options for you. Or you can go further and find other options to eat at. It was a nice relaxing time, and I felt safe the entire time. It's a good option to stay when you are in town.

It wasn't a bad stay for sure, but not my favorite in town. The water pressure was okay. The bed was comfy. The sheets were soft. My only problem is that the AC didn't have option for constant fan. It cuts off constantly so even with the thermostat set to 66, I kept waking up hot under the sheets every time the fan turned off. It was perfect when the fan was running. So I woke up a lot during the night. (The AC is loud, so the sound cutting off alone doesn't help in me trying to sleep. I can have loud noise but when it goes silent suddenly, it wakes me ) People loved the place and the amenities. The place is welcoming and inviting. So many places to gather and enjoy. I didn't have time to explore besides the ice machine and bottle refilling station. And of all the things offered at the front desk, sadly contact solution wasn't available. All the front desk workers were great. Checked in ahead of time with mobile app. Simple and easy process. Even chose my ideal location ahead of time. Digital key never gave me a problem.

Hotel itself was very nice and everyone was very friendly. Rooms are very small and no frills which was ok with us. Liked the walked in shower vs a tub/shower combo. The only negative is the walls must be made of paper. We could hear everything from the rooms around us. We thought at one point the people above us on the top floor were going to come through our ceiling, granted they were heavy walkers but still this shouldn't be. I would probably stay again but would make sure I booked the top floor.

Rooms are small, but clean and with just what we needed (a small mini fridge, a desk, a storage bench, and hangers for clothes). The lobby with foosball tables and ample seating downstairs was a nice touch. I especially liked the water filling machine and gym space (several treadmills, an elliptical, a pull-up bar, and kettlebell weights). Staff was always present, welcoming, and helpful. Overall, this was a very comfortable and pleasant place to stay for a few nights.

I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. Usually hotels at this price level are basic, but this one surpassed my expectations. Our room had comfortable pillows, lots of towels, and liquid soap. The continental breakfast had a good selection and included protein options. The lobby had a lot of seating and a Foosball table, and the staff was friendly. So, although our room was small and didn't have a closet, the hotel more than made up for it with amenities.

The place is perfectly fine. Nothing fancy but completely acceptable. I'm not a big fan of the modern look so 4 stars.

Breakfast was great! Clean rooms and great customer service. Loved the Cherokee gift shop near the hotel. Would definitely recommend if you are in the area. Small casino near hotel too.

Check in went smoothly. This is a Newer hotel with an outdoor pool, close to everything, and does have a breakfast bar. Employees were nice. Rooms are small but clean.
